I had the absolute pleasure of working with Máire Forkin when she designed my Mother of the Bride outfit for my daughter’s wedding in May, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience or the finished result. From our very first meeting, Máire was a pleasure to work with. She really listened to what I wanted and took the time to understand my style and vision. I knew I didn’t want a typical Mother of the Bride outfit; I wanted something elegant, timeless, and versatile that I could wear again in the future. Máire designed a stunning three-piece suit that exceeded all my expectations. She chose the beautiful oyster colour, which perfectly complemented my skin tone and coordinated wonderfully with the bridesmaids’ dresses. Her knowledge, creativity, and attention to detail were evident throughout the entire process. The quality of the materials and craftsmanship was exceptional. Máire is a true perfectionist. This was reflected in the multiple fittings, consultations, and phone calls she arranged to ensure every detail was just right before the final outfit was completed.

What I love most about the outfit is its versatility. Rather than being something I would wear only once, it has become a staple piece in my wardrobe. The individual pieces can be styled in different ways. They can be paired with other items, such as trousers, making it suitable for many future occasions.

On the wedding day, I felt comfortable, confident, and truly amazing in my outfit. I received countless compliments, both on the day itself and afterwards.  I would highly recommend Máire to anyone looking for a bespoke outfit.
