“I first became aware of Maire Forkin designer when I saw her on TV am. I was struck by her lovely natural personality and by her beautifully designed outfits. Then, a little later on, my daughter became engaged and I began the long journey towards finding my outfit. I had no luck and then I remembered Maire. The rest is history. I contacted Maire and found her to be absolutely wonderful. Lots of empathy at my self- consciousness about my not so wonderful figure! We chose a fabulous French navy silk, and I enjoyed the experience of having an outfit made just for me. Maire has great attention to detail. She is a perfectionist and left nothing to chance.

Then on to finding a headpiece to set off my outfit. While looking in the Irish design Centre I came across the Marion Cody Designs Emporium Powerscourt Centre, another lovely lady. We had some fun trying on hats and then Marion suggested Deb Fanning to make my hat in the way I described. I had many worries. Deb was wonderful. She constructed the most wonderful hat in French navy with silk roses (which I requested) and added the most amazing feather display which set it off completely.

My wedding outfit was wonderful to wear. I felt comfortable and elegant. Maire Forkin and Deb Fanning made my day and my daughters”.   Liz Green
